“Awesome !!! ”

Wednesday, July 8, I went with KLM to Khadikoy, Istanbul for an extraction and implant treatment. The second treatment, a nerve treatment and the placement of four crowns, then takes place 6 months later.

Update:

After a successful journey in a chock full plane picked up by the Limo and brought to the Hotel Khalkedon via a round tour. Then explored Kadekoy for a few hours.

The next day I was picked up on time by a German speaking young female dentist assistant who guided me to the practice. Close by the way. Talked to Dr. Halil, after which an examination with the female surgeon and the doctor followed. After this moved to the operating room and after 1.5 hours after an extraction, and "weighted" with an implant, I was outside again and together with the German speaking young lady and a lump of ice on the cheek, I was taken to a pharmacy via a payment machine brought where I was given the necessary medicines. When I arrived at the Hotel I was told that if the ice had melted I had to call and new ice would be brought. This happened. After taking an ibuprofen and three hours of rest, everything returned to normal, no swelling, no pain. After asking in practice if I could eat again, I went to the opposite KFC and had a nice full meal and then walked along the boulevard along the Bosporus. Perfect!!

After a restless night - at 10.30 pm I had to hear a story from the speakers of the Imam for half an hour, and at 2.30 am the sound of a woman who was murdered in the adjacent hotel room, but what after hearing a regularly creaky bed sound, turned out to be something else 😉 (I should have called the reception, the receptionist said then I would have been given another room…. Uuuh not necessary) The next day after having a nice cup of tea with the receptionists i was picked up again by the Limo who brought me back to the plane. The return journey also went very smoothly and in an almost empty plane there was enough time to exchange ideas with the KLM ladies of the Cabin Crew. All in all a very smooth journey, and a great dentist team !! TOP!! What an experience !!
