“Excellent results at Essential Aesthetics for FACETite and Morpheous8”

I am 52 years old and have started to show signs of aging with skin starting to sag on my neck and under my chin, and deep creases around the mouth (nasolabial folds). I have been using the services of Essential Aesthetics for a number of years and during a consultation with Dr Sewnaik asked about non-surgical options to tighten the skin. He suggested I try radiofrequency micro-needling to help contour the face and boost the production of collagen in the skin. FACETite was recommended for my neck and under the chin to remove fat and tighten loose skin,
and Morpheous8 which is a less invasive treatment was recommended for my face to promote skin tightening and lifting.

I had the FaceTite procedure a few months ago and completed my 3rd treatment of Morpheous8 recently and am very happy with the results. I had excellent results with FACETite where the skin under my chin has lost it’s sag and I once again have a defined jawline. The skin on my neck is noticeably tighter with no appearance of sagging. I have also had good results with Morpheous8 with a noticeable improvement to the nasolabial folds. It will take a few more months before I see the full benefit so I look forward to seeing further improvements.

Any review you read about FACETite or Morpheous8 will mention how painful the procedure can be and my own experience was mixed. Although the FACETite procedure is more invasive I was more comfortable than I was with Morpheuos8 as the pain medication required is stronger. I struggled to sit through my initial Morpheous8 treatment as it was very painful and the numbing agent did not work well. I considered not going for the follow-up sessions but was advised to come a full hour earlier to give the numbing cream more time to work, this made the world of difference. I managed to get through the first 2 passes of the needling without much discomfort before I started to feel it on the 3rd pass which was bearable because by that time I knew the end was near and that the results are worth it.

My skin is very sensitive and reacts badly to the Morpheous8 procedure but the aftercare treatment at Essential Aesthetics includes a face mask that soothed my skin immediately and reduced the redness to such a level that I wasn’t embarrassed getting a taxi home. I used a heavy moisturiser for a few days after each treatment which helped prevent my eczema from flaring up and I made sure that I didn’t have any in-person work meetings for a few days after the treatment. If I didn’t have an existing dermatological problem I could have gone back to work almost immediately after treatment.
